Air Force One VC-25A over Daytona International Speedway
On Sunday, February 16, 2020 the customized United States Presidential Boeing 747-200B designated as VC-25A Air Force One flew over the Daytona International Speedway carrying onboard President Donald J Trump and his
entourage, along with other dignitaries and members of the press.
The aircraft made a historic, low level pass at about 800 feet over the Daytona International Speedway before touching down at the adjacent Daytona Beach International Airport, so as to enable President Trump to later serve as the race’s Grand Marshal.
The Boeing VC-25A is powered by four General Electric CF6-80C2B1 turbofan jet engines, each capable of producing 56,700 lbf (252 kN) per engine for a combined total thrust of 226,800 lbf (1,008.8566 kN).
