Alaska Bound

Alaska Airlines Boeing 737-900 on departure from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport

Emirates 777-300ER

After its southern departure from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, an Alaska Airlines Boeing 737-900 climbs westward over the beautiful waterways that permeate the city of Seattle, on its way
to Anchorage, Alaska.

Alaska Airlines was the launch customer for the 737-900 in 2001 and although the -900 variant saw comparatively few aircraft in service with Alaska, its airframe was an important prelude for the development of the -900ER and later the 737 MAX-9, both of which would go on to become prolific for the Airline.
