Boeing 777X on its maiden flight from Boeing Field, Seattle on January 25th, 2020.
On the 25th of January 2020, departing from Boeing Field in Seattle, the Boeing 777X, made her maiden flight. At approximately 10:08 am the 777X began her take off roll and after gathering speed in front of the large crowd gathered to witness this historic event, leapt into the chilly winter morning air with grace and power.
After performing a traditional overflight of Washington State’s famous Mount Rainier as part of her flight plan, the giant aircraft landed back at Boeing Field at approximately 2:00 p.m later that day, thus completing her historic maiden flight.
With her enormous length of 252 feet (77 meters), and wingspan of 235 feet (72 meters) featuring the world’s largest folding wingtips, the Boeing 777X is the world’s largest twin engined commercial airliner.
