easyJet A319 over the English Channel

Climbing steadily over the South Coast of England, this easyJet Airbus A319 is on its way to one of many European destinations serviced by the airline. Its track over the English Channel takes in views of the many famous coastal towns dotted along the shoreline such as Portsmouth and Southhampton and offers magnificent vistas of the Isle of Wight and the Solent.

The A319 has been the stalwart of the easyJet fleet and still represents the bulk of fleet numbers. All of easyJet’s A319s are powered by two CFM56-5B turbofan jet engines, producing a combined maximum thrust of nearly 40,000 lbf.
