In the glow of the late afternoon light, a new Emirates Airbus A350-900 climbs majestically over Dubai.

The Airbus A350 is the latest aircraft type to join the Emirates fleet and wear the famous Emirates livery which itself received a fresh new look in time for the A350’s entry into service. Now becoming one of the three different aircraft types in the Emirates fleet, the A350 helps to diversify and round out fleet capability and versatility, notably with its long flight range ability and economical smaller capacity as compared with her two larger counterparts in the Airbus A380 and Boeing 777. The Emirates A350-900 is powered by two Rolls Royce Trent XWB-84 high bypass turbofan engines each capable of producing a take off thrust of 84,200 lbf (375 kN).
