Emirates 777-300 ER over Dubai at night

On a glorious night above the ‘city of gold’ as it is sometimes known, an Emirates Boeing 777-300 ER gains altitude over the metropolis of Dubai with its sparkling city lights sprawled like a carpet of treasure across the desert floor.

This particular departure track from DXB sees the aircraft take off toward the Arabian Gulf before eventually turning back to climb high over the city, where it passes above the spire of the world famous Burj Khalifa, with breathtaking views of Dubai offered all the way.
