Qatar Airways 787-9 Dreamliner on departure from Doha

A Qatar Airways Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner climbs serenely away from Hamad International Airport, against the background of the futuristic city of Doha, capital of Qatar.
The Dreamliner was introduced into service with Qatar in 2012 with the smaller 787-8 variant. The first 787-9 was delivered to the airline in November of 2020 with the aircraft registered A7-BHA being the first of that variant for the company.
Qatar’s 787-9s are powered by two General Electric GEnx axial flow, high-bypass turbofan jet engines, each with a take off thrust of 74,100 lbf (330 kN).
