On a crisp, cold and clear winters morning in Australia’s capital city of Canberra, a Royal Australian Air Force Boeing Business Jet, operated by the RAAF No.34 Squadron takes off from Canberra International Airport.The RAAF’s two BBJ’s capable of long-distance international travel are able to fly almost anywhere in the world from Australia with only one stop. They are the primary means of domestic and international transportation for the
Prime Minister of Australia, government leaders and senior executives, and other dignitaries. Part of the RAAF 84 Wing, No.34 Squadron was established on the 23rd of February 1942 at Parap Airfield in Darwin, Northern Territory. The 34 Squadrons Latin motto is Eo Et Redeo, meaning ‘I go, and I return’.
